Team codes

By talking to tons of coaches, we learned that teams needed an easy way to keep their CrewLAB groups secure while still having an easy way to bring new athletes and coaches in.

<aside> 💡 CrewLAB Team Codes are unique codes that are generated for each individual group on CrewLAB - any time a team space is created, a team code is assigned automatically.

How do they work?

Your team code is what keeps your group secure - in order to join your group, athletes or coaches enter a team code.

This happens either when they either:

1. Create a profile for the first time (new athlete or coach) or
2. Join your group from their existing CrewLAB account

Where can I find my team code?

Your team code is available in three places:

1. In the initial email you received when you created your group
2. In the mobile app - it’s on your team page under your team’s name ****(profile > team name)
3. In the Coach Portal (web app) - on the team tab under your team’s name
