Lineups are designed to support practice planning and other event logistics, as opposed to the more general Roster Squads.

Lineups allow Coaches to assign Team Members into groups for a specific Calendar Event, ad hoc session, or other short period of time. Lineups are typically based on real-time RSVPs, position preferences, and anthropometric data (e.g. height and weight).

Creating Lineups

To create a Lineup:

  1. If your Lineup does not already exist, Select “Add Lineup” and enter a name
  2. Filter by RSVPs, position preferences, and/or anthropometric data
  3. Select “Add Athlete” or drag Team Members from the left sidebar into the Lineup and order everyone as desired
  4. Edit, delete, collapse, and re-arrange Lineups as desired

All Lineup updates are time-stamped with the editing Coach’s name and automatically saved for all Coaches visiting the Lineups Board.

Managing Lineups

You can use Preferences to filter and sort Team Members within a Lineup by using the “View Preferences” section of the left sidebar to filter by RSVPs, position preferences, and/or anthropometric data.

Sharing Lineups

Once a Lineup is created, it can be shared in the Team Chat:

  1. Select the “Share to Chat” button in the top right of the Lineups Board
  2. Add an optional message for context (e.g. the associated session date and time)
  3. Select the “Share to Chat” button. A screenshot of the Lineup will appear in the Team Chat, viewable by all Team Members

Lineups FAQs

Who can create or edit Lineups?

Only Coaches can view and edit the Lineups Board. Captains and Athletes can only view Lineups that were Shared to Chat.
